Poh Cheng Boon, senior career coach at Workforce Singapore highlights that being multidisciplinary is about having a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new things.

“It means an individual person, although he is trained in a very specific domain, or has a specific skill set in training, he will be more exposed and more open in many areas,” he said.

“So, for example, I’m engineering-trained, but I also deal with management, a little bit of quality, operations, logistics.”
